Action Entertainment started in 2003 with a simple observation: the hard part of event entertainment isn't finding an act — it's knowing which act will actually work in your room. Two decades and thousands of events later, that's still the job.

We keep a roster of performers we've watched work — repeatedly, in real rooms, under real conditions — and we match them to events across Australia: private celebrations, corporate functions, venue residencies and everything between.

The agency is run by a small, hands-on bookings team, backed by performers who between them have played every kind of room this city has. We answer enquiries within one business day, we tell you honestly when something won't work, and we've never left a client standing next to an empty stage.

How we work

You tell us about the event — the date, the room, the numbers, the feel. We do the matching: real options with real video and honest prices, plus straight advice about what suits your space. Then we handle the parts nobody enjoys — riders, run sheets, insurance certificates, and invoicing your finance team will approve without a phone call.

Book direct and you have one relationship, for one night. Book through us and the performer is accountable to us as well as to you — for your event, and every one after it. You're not paying for an introduction. You're paying for the fact that someone else has skin in the game.
